ICS File Generator

Build one or more calendar events, then export them as a single .ics file ready to import into Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. Everything runs in your browser.

All events above will be bundled into one .ics file.

How It Works

The ICS File Generator builds iCalendar files that follow RFC 5545, the open standard supported by every major calendar application.

  1. Fill in the event details: title, date, time, location, and an optional description.
  2. Choose a recurrence rule (none, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly) and set an end condition.
  3. Add reminders (VALARM components) to trigger notifications at any lead time via email or alert.
  4. Click Download .ics File. The file is assembled in JavaScript and saved directly to your device; nothing is sent to a server.
  5. Open the file or drag it into your calendar app. Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar all support direct .ics import.
Importing tips
  • Google Calendar: Settings → Import & export → Import.
  • Apple Calendar: File → Import, or double-click the .ics file.
  • Outlook: File → Open & Export → Import/Export → Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file.
  • On mobile, opening the file directly from your Downloads or Files app usually triggers an import prompt.
Recurrence notes
  • "Weekly" recurrence repeats on the same weekday as the start date by default.
  • If no end condition is set the event recurs indefinitely; most calendar apps cope fine but you can limit it by occurrence count or end date.
  • All-day events omit the time component in the DTSTART value.
